Yogi will make his third trip to Ayodhya in 20 days to dedicate a statue of Ramanujacharya

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, will make his third trip to Ayodhya in 20 days on Wednesday to dedicate the statue of Ramanujacharya, a Hindu philosopher and social reformer, at Radha Soami Temple Golaghat at noon.

Yogi will also host a meeting to discuss Deepotsav preparations.

The Ram Katha Park Helipad is where the Chief Minister will arrive to present the statue. He will thereafter visit the Ram Katha Museum after attending the Silver Jubilee Festival at Shri Ram Mantrath Mandapam.The district's top officials will attend a meeting that Yogi will host at the museum.

Notably, Yogi arrived at Ayodhya on September 23 in preparation for the aerial survey and Deepotsav. On September 28, he returned to the city for the opening ceremony of the Lata Mangeshkar memorial Chowk and Veena. On October 12, he will return to the city once more.

The Chief Minister had stated on September 28 that a statue of Ramanujacharya would be erected. Ramanujacharya's idol is being erected in Ram Nagari on his 1000th birthday.

"The Jagadguru Ramanujacharya statue will be erected in Ramnagari for the first time. This statue, which will be erected at the Radha Krishna temple designed in the South Indian style and situated just two kilometres from Ram Janmabhoomi, will be roughly four feet long. The saints had urged Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to honour Ramanujacharya by renaming Ayodhya's central square. The Chief Minister had promised them that in the ensuing years, crossroads in Ayodhya will be created in honour of prominent sages "a formal statement said
