JNU gets Zero in Economically and Socially Challenged Students Category in NIRF, BBAU gets 8.89 out of 20.

The National Institutional Ranking Framework 2023 has been released yesterday. Like previous years, Many top institutions have maintained their ranking. IIT Madras has retained its top position in overall category. Most of the top institutions are technical institutions, only Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) was able to get 10th position as non technical university.

The NIRF ranking is based on several parameters. The performance of the universities are analysed on these given parameters. Overall ,  21 parameters have been used this time for ranking of the institutions. 

Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR):  TLR has five subcategories. SS, FSR, FQE, FRU and OE. The JNU has done well in all the category
